I'm not sure just how many people have noticed and sometimes even attention, but there appears to have been yet another page position upgrade from Google. This update is extremely odd nevertheless and things are happening that are a good deal different from anything I've ever seen before.

I first noticed a big difference when I went and looked over one of my websites which can be only three months old. The site in question had previously had no page rank due to being an extremely new internet site and in those three months since its start, I'd probably obtained twenty o-r thirty one-way backward links pointing to it. To my amazement it was now showing being a page rank five.

I have several internet sites one-of that is around five years old, it's over four thousand backward links and is really a pr four. After seeing my new site go straight in at pr five, I quickly visited see how this site had faired in this new update, it had not changed.

After checking all of my websites, I've noticed that the sites which had a rank have all stayed the same, however the people which had formerly a rank of zero, now have a rank and have seemingly been a part of the brand new upgrade.

Several hours later I was looking at one of my other websites with a homepage page ranking of two. This is where things started to become a bit bizarre. I pointed out that its outside pages had now turn into a page ranking four but the website was still only a PR2. What's all that about? The backward links are mostly going to the homepage so how can this page have a lower PR compared to the external pages?

I thought I knew a little bit about page rank but it's cast me some what.

I then started to consider the different posts in numerous se boards and other people were writing that they have experienced exactly like what I'd using their sites.

It maybe of course that what we're seeing is merely the beginning of a large page ranking update, which is what I'm hoping.
