Intisar Seraaj is a multi-talented woman. She is a journalist, marriage and fashion blogger, poet, photographer and actress.

She's currently the Social Discovery intern at CNN in Atlanta, Georgia.

Seraaj received her Master of Science in Journalism, with a concentration in digital journalism, from the University of Southern California in 2017. She graduated from Georgia State University (GSU) in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, specializing in print journalism and minoring in Video & Film. At GSU, she wrote for the university's newspaper for about a year in the music and arts & living sections. After graduating as a Magna Cum Laude in only three years, Seraaj moved to Birmingham, Alabama where she interned and waspromoted asa staff writer for Starnes Publishing. There, she wrote for the publishing company's five community newspapers.

With her pre- and post-graduate writing experience, she moved back home to Montgomery, Alabama where worked as the Communications Specialist for her family businesses: Seraaj Family Homes, Inc. and The Grandma Home House Retreat.

Since childhood, Seraaj has developed her skills and passions in writing, theatre, cooking, and fashion. She has developed these skills with formal and informal education, worldtraveling, and personal and professional experiences.

Seraaj enjoys writing long-form writing, features and biographical stories, and shooting short documentaries.
