Doctoral Student in New York
Started my undergraduate studies in Green Bay, Wisconsin, followed by my senior year in Southern California. Majored in Biological Sciences with emphasis in Cell and Molecular Biology. Worked for about two years in the United States after graduating, as a research assistant in Loma Linda Medical University first and then as a social betterment volunteer at Tampa, FL as well as Hollywood, CA.
Resigned from my job in December 2012 and did an MRes program for Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Birmingham in the UK in 2013-14. Started my PhD in Biomaterials research at NYU in New York City in Jan 2016. After finishing my doctorate, I'd like to do my an industrial postdoctoral training in the greater Los Angeles area.
Open-minded, high IQ and an extremely quick learner, I have a wide variety of interests and friends from literally all kinds of backgrounds, from all over the world. In addition, I am wanderlust for Europe, Australia and Japan; I would like to visit all of those places in the near future!
