Israel Bionyi Nyoh is a communications specialist, with 5 years of experience in the conservation, agricultural research and development sectors. He has experience in designing and implementing development projects related to knowledge management, advocacy, research community development and investigative reporting. He has succeeded in doing the following in his five years of experience:

Project Management/Rural development water projects

2015: Coordinated water projects for the Water collective in Cameroon. Mobilizing funding and fixing 4 broken water projects giving access to clean water to more than 10 000 people.

Research, investigative journalism and reporting

2015: 2nd Prize Winner of the 2015 Haller Prize for Development Journalism

2015: Contributed 3 stories for the International Year of Soils podcast series supported by FAO-The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United and the AMARC-World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters.

2013-2015: Investigated and reported 50 stories featured on Fairplanet.org, The Guardian UK, Digital Lagos, and Standard Tribune.

Communications, advocacy and knowledge management

2015-2016: At CTA building skills and knowledge capacities of ACP networks. Planning workshops, developing training courses and building capacities via face-face intervals and online communities.

2015-2016: Mobilizing contents to promote good practices with the World Commission on Protected Areas – Young Professionals and leading the IUCN Green List community and communications project.

2014-2015: Organized scientists to write stories for SCB, editing scientific papers and promoting stories on varied platforms.

2014: Developed advocacy campaigns for WWF Madagascar, produced short education films on conservation and implemented eco strategies on marine conservation along the Southwestern coast of Madagascar.

2009-2013: Designed, managed and implemented communications and behavior change campaigns in Cameroon with the IRD Cameroon.
