I am a K-12 teacher of Informatics, currently at ICT department of Administration of Primary Education of Serres, Serres, Greece. I also teach the Management of Information Systems Lab at the Department of Business Administration of Technical Educational Institution (TEI) of Serres. From time to time I conduct some research in the field of Software Engineering as a collaborator with the SWENG group at the Department of Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I also hold a PhD from the same department. Particularly I am interested in Software Quality, Measurment and Emperical Software Engineering in Free/Libre/Open Source Software (FLOSS) development. My thesis was entitled "Methods of Analysis of Maintainability and Survivability of Free/Open Source Software Projects". I have also contributed to two important European IST projects (SQO-OSS and FLOSSMETRICS) and several National Funded R&D Projects in areas like Knowledge Management, Distance Certification and, lately, Management of Education.

At May 24th, me and Ioannis Poulios presented at the European Parliament at Brussels a very interesting environmental educational game called "Schools Carbon Footprint". The project is translated into several languages, so give it a try! We also have several other interesing educational projects at http://dipe.ser.sch.gr/ysd (in Greek).
