Established in 1999 by Chris Maselka, the Iowa Steak Company provides high-quality cuts of meat to customers throughout the Midwest. The company also maintains locations in Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. Specializing in refrigerated delivery, patrons purchase various types of meat in bulk packaging. The Iowa Steak Company offers diverse beef, pork, chicken, and seafood products. From succulent rib eye steaks to seasoned chicken breasts, Chris Maselka and his company strive to provide top-notch products at competitive prices.

Before establishing the Iowa Steak Company, Mr. Maselka worked in the meat industry and saw a need for consumers to have access to higher quality cuts of steak. This prompted him to establish his company in West Des Moines, Iowa. From a single location and four delivery trucks, the company has grown substantially in the last 12 years. Now Mr. Maselka’s company boasts over a dozen locations in eight states and possesses a fleet of two hundred trucks. In recent years, the company branched out to other cuts of meat, such as pork and seafood, to offer a larger variety to their clients.

The company employs 200 people. Sales representatives for the Iowa Steak Company undergo classroom and field training to help ensure that they possess the knowledge necessary to sell the company’s meat products and meet corporate standards for customer service. Chris Maselka strives to show the public a cohesive image, with delivery trucks featuring the company’s logo and recognizable uniforms for sales representatives. Accredited by the Better Business Bureau, the company plans to branch out to more areas of the United States and eventually establish locations in Canada.
