I'm a 40ish iphone photography enthusiast living life one moment at a time. I’ve had an iPhone for a few years now and I’ve come to appreciate the convenience it has provided in documenting moments of my life.

I’ve always been a bit rebellious so it’s in my nature to challenge the negative attitudes toward technology and phone use. Instead of relying on technology, I am using my phone to appreciate what is in front of me. As an added bonus, I’m able to share it with others and relive the moment one or a few hundred times if I want to. Unlike millennials, I didn’t have a camera with me 24/7 for the first 75% of my life. That is a lot of moments and experiences that I wasn’t able to document. Thankfully, technology and accessibility has come a long way. I plan to take full advantage of my iPhone’s camera and features by using it to pay attention to the beauty of daily life. Photography is one of the most impactful art forms and often has the power to activate feelings and emotions that we may not always pay attention to in the moment of the experience. How often do you pass by the same people, places or things and actually pay attention to them? Can you accurately recall details about them? I dare you to test yourself. You might be surprised.
