Iquo Archibong is a life scientist with a Bsc in Biochemistry (2012) and an Msc in forensic science (2017). As a lecturer who is specialising in biosecurity and microbial forensics, she believes there is need to understand and put in place an effective system of biosecurity, as well as forensic techniques and solutions, to investigate and mitigate those security challenges and crimes that may result from bioterrorism and epidemics which is on the increase. With certifications from UNDSS, University of Bath - London, and Griffiths University - Australia, she is also a health security ambassador with an interest in public health safety and emergency management.

As a serial volunteer she has contributed her quota to add value to many organisations, as well as ensure the actualization of their missions and objectives. She has also worked with numerous organisations to support marginalised communities and the vulnerable in terms of health education and provision of basic services. In the course of her work she has served in many capacities, as an administrative director, programme manager, executive director, coordinator and team lead. She hopes to further her public health management skills with professional certifications and experiences if given the opportunity.

While she is detail oriented, team spirited, success driven and self motivated, she loves to research, write, build capacity, innovate or engage in self-development when she's not working.

Iquo Archibong is also a social entrepreneur who is passionate about agriculture and believes in its revolutionising of the world's economy. And as an SDGs advocate, she looks forward to expanding her scope of action, replicating her activities, indoctrinating the younger generation into her causes and impacting more lives with her work.
