Ira started her career as an engineer in oil and gas company, with Shell Taranaki New Zealand. She then returned to Malaysia in 2010, and joined Petronas Carigali Sarawak Operations for 5 years. In 2015, she joined CPOC, a joint-venture operating company between Carigali and PTTEPI Thailand for 3 years. She rejoined Petronas as a Manager and tendered in 2018 to focus on business.

Educational:

Ira graduated with Master in Engineering Management and Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from University of Canterbury, New Zealand.

Business:

Ira started her e-commerce journey from home in 2016, with a start up capital of RM300, as a small home based Lazada & Shopee Seller.

In 2019, she open a retail Baby Store and Courier Hub in Kajang, Selangor.

Consultancy:

Ira also owns a consultancy firm, where she and her team advice and consult founders, brands, companies and IKS in diversifying sales channels into major marketplace in Malaysia, such as Shopee, Lazada, PG Mall, Zalora and TikTok Shop.

Professional Speaker & Trainer:

In 2020, Ira became a certified ShopeeXpert and HRDC Certified Trainer.

Ira has been running her own training program, teaching on Shopee, Lazada and TiktokShop since 2018 and has been helping more than 10,000 students over the years.
