Our Mission is to raise the self-esteem and self-image in young girls and young women in minority communities.

Girls in minority communities, on a large scale tend to struggle with many issues including low self-esteem and poor self-worth, lack of education, poverty, lack of resources, lack of opportunities, unemployment, and homelessness,amongst many other issues. ​
​
In the Northeast Bronx there is a growing need for girls mentor programs that will respond to these issues. Who will stand in the gap for these young girls and young women that are constantly giving themselves up to promiscuity, drugs, violence, and in some cases suicide. Who will guide these young women and lead them from girlhood to womanhood? Investment needs to be made into the lives of such young women: to teach and instill principles, good morals, good character and to help young women to live a purposeful life.

Our Mission is to help restore the identity and self-esteem of females in minority communities, to raise up a generation of young females that will grow to become community leaders, influential world figures, entrepreneurs, business owners and educators by means of helping young women to develop healthy identities, healthy self-esteem and make decisions that will not only transform their lives but also their neighborhoods,communities, cities, and their nation.

I'RAISE provides an array of free services and free resources to its members and the community including girls groups, short-term counseling, college prep, and many free activities and events throughout the year!
