Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum is the Chairman of Orthopaedics at Bronxcare Health System in New York City. He is a managing partner at Sprocket Health and the Chief Medical Officer for DTC Healthcom. With a notable and unique career, Dr. Kirschenbaum has lectured and published on topics including information technology, practice leadership, and electronic media within the healthcare industry. He has assisted in the design of impactful joint replacement systems.

Prior to his current position, Kirschenbaum worked as the Chief of Adult Reconstructive Surgery for the Kaiser Permanente System and worked at his own practice for eight years and performed hundreds of successful surgeries for his patients.

In addition, he was part of the team that created Medscape, which went on to be sold by GE and WebMD.
