IRAN DANIEL is an actor and Emmy® award winner television host who captivated Hispanic audiences in the U.S. and Latin America as on-air entertainment correspondent for Telemundo’s top-rated morning show “Un Nuevo Dia”, the same show that made history by receiving the first-ever Daytime Emmy® for “Outstanding Morning Program in Spanish".

As an actor, she has been cast in numerous television and film roles, including "Party of Five" (Freeform/Hulu), "La Migra", “Day Shift” (Fox Searchlight), “Bulletfighter,” “The Comeback” (HBO), “Warren the Ape” (MTV), and Nickelodeon’s “iCarly.”

Born and raised in Mexico City, she attended an American school were she learned to read and write in English before than in Spanish (so while she has a slight Latin flair to her accent, she can count, dream, pray, joke, and very sparingly - curse, in both languages without flinching).

Iran grew up in a family of politicians -the honest type tho (her grandpa was the Mayor of the city where her dad grew up and her dad the Mayor of the city where she grew up), so she was involved in community service since a very young age.

She attended the French Lycée before High School to perfect her French, and before going to college, she moved to London, England from where she traveled to over 45 countries, a journey that ignited her passion for photography and writing.

Back in Mexico, Televisa asked her to join the very first beauty contest "Nuestra Belleza", the new "Miss Mexico" franchise, produced by Mexico's first Miss Universe, Lupita Jones. As a finalist, she was offered a scholarship at the network's coveted training program "CEA", but she declined to finish college in Miami graduating in Arts with a minor in Photography. She worked on TV commercials before starting her career in broadcasting as host of Univision’s “Sabado Gigante,” the longest running variety show with an audience of more than 100 million viewers in 42 countries worldwide.

After studying Drama she landed a lead role in a Soap-Opera and worked as a Series Regular in a variety of TV productions for the Hispanic market, before landing the lead in an independent film. Her passion for film acting led her to pack her bags and drive on her own across country, from Miami to Hollywood, where she is represented by:
