Ira Wolfson has built a career spanning nearly three decades at the forefront of strategic advisory and investment banking, advising companies and investment firms on some of the most complex and high-value transactions in the market.

After earning his B.A. from Duke University, Wolfson rose to become Executive Vice Chairman at Rothschild & Co, where he co-headed both the global industrials and global aerospace & defense practices.

Today, Ira Wolfson serves as Senior Managing Director in Evercore's strategic advisory practice, where he has built a track record of landmark mandates. Recent transactions include advising Blackstone on the $2.6B sale of Arka to CACI; Stanley Black & Decker on the $1.8B sale of Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing to Howmet; KKR on the $2.7B sale of Kito Crosby to Columbus McKinnon; and GE on its formation of three independent public companies. He has also advised Teledyne Technologies on its $8B acquisition of FLIR Systems, Boeing on $40B of bond financing, Veritas Capital on its $17B sale of Athenahealth, and Adient on a series of M&A and debt financings totaling over $8B, among many others.

Mr. Wolfson is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council of Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy and a trustee of the Jacob Burns Film Center.
