Irene Espósito Reuter received a bilingual primary and secondary education in English and Spanish, to which German was added some time later. She graduated in English Studies from UNED in 2014 and is currently taking a Master's degree in the same discipline. She trained as an Illustrator at the Centre Francesca Bonnemaison in Barcelona, a perfect complement to story-writing. She also took a postgraduate course in Management of Cultural Organisations at UOC. Between 2005 and 2008 she run the Cultural Association serpmoixserp in Fornalutx.
Her work experience comprises mostly translation and interpretation work in different fields, dedicating the last few years to legal translation in particular.
More recently, an interest in the teaching world drove Irene to obtaining the TEFL CELTA certification. At present she is a keen independent researcher in all things social, with a focus on postcolonial Literatures and inequality issues.
