Now a mother of two littleuns, I originally trained as a professional graphic designer. After moving into part time teaching assistant at a local primary school to fit in with my new life, bringing up children, I started looking for other avenues to express my creative side.

I loved doing fun and arty activities with my own kids and could see how much they loved drawing and painting and dressing up …it was then that I (along with my little boy and little girl) discovered face painting! Something clicked and I knew that this was what I wanted to do.

You can now find me face painting at local fetes and events or at children’s parties. I love working with children and seeing their eyes light up when they get to choose the colours and design they want and then look in the mirror to see themselves transformed into a fairy or monster or their favourite superhero.

I only use high quality facepaints and like to interact with the kids as I’m painting their face or arm. It’s great to see a child coming out of their shell with a few strokes of paint and to see all the kids playing together, eager to show off their painted faces and see what their friends have had done.
