Irene Saba
digital marketing and humanities in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
While I got bored waiting for Godot, I decided to look for him and make good things happen for myself.
I relocated from Milan to Barcelona in 2014, after getting my degree in Cultural Heritage and Art History by the Università degli Studi di Milano.
Digital Marketing and communication are my other forces of inspiration, therefore I attended a Social Media Marketing and Community Manager Master by UB and a Journalism and Digital Communication Master by UOC, both in Barcelona.
Since attending a foreign languages high-school, I have been editing and translating texts in to other languages and I have been taking part in various independent editorial projects. One of them was my first (failed) personal blog. As well as speaking Italian as my mother tongue, I fluently speak English, Spanish and German which I improved attending language courses and traveling around Europe.
I am a driven and goal-oriented person. No matter the task, I deal with it with passion to achieve the best result ever. I am both eclectic and pragmatic, although I don't lack empathy and creativity.
Given my background and my work experience it is difficult to define my professional figure, therefore I would identify myself as a Digital Humanist.
