Irene Zardini

Milano, Italia

Irene was born in Italy in 1989.
She attended the Artistic High School in Treviso specializing in Painting and Decorating.
She graduated as Set and Costume designer with a first class honours degree at NABA - New Academy of Fine Arts of Milan, she currently lives and works in Montréal (Quebec, Canada).

She worked with set designer Margherita Palli for Luca Ronconi’s shows "Nora alla Prova da Casa di Bambola" by H. Ibsen, staging Mariangela Melato in her last performance - Teatro Stabile di Genova 2011 and for "Die heilige Johanna der Schlachthofe", B. Brecht - Piccolo Teatro Milano 2012.
She worked for CRT Artificio and Change Performing Arts, collaborating to Colomba Leddi as assistant of costume for "La Traviata", directed by Daniele Abbado and performing at the Municipal Theatre of San Paolo (Brazil) 2012. In the same theatre and year she was responsible of props for the opera "Macbeth", directed by Robert Wilson.
She collaborated with Fattoria Vittadini, a young dance theatre company, creating the shows "Il Banchetto" and "John Doe", both unpublished choreography performing in important festivals and theatres.
Was stage assistant designer for Leila Fteita, working for different show productions in some of the most important international opera theatres like Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, Maly Theatre Moscow and Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.

Currently in Montréal she collaborates with the film director Roberto Zorfini, they made the advertising for the famous Fruiterie Milano and along with Absurd Productions, she has participated at the 48 Hour Film Project in Ottawa.
The team has won many awards, we're going to compete in Los Angeles for FILMAPALOOZA.
