Irfan Rana

An experienced emergency room physician based in Forney, Texas, Dr. Irfan Rana draws on extensive experience at hospitals throughout Texas and Arkansas. He formerly served as Medical Director, Chief of Staff, and Emergency Room Director at Cozby-Germany Hospital in Grand Saline, Texas. At present, Dr. Rana works as an Emergency Room Physician at De Queen Medical Center in De Queen, Arkansas. He also serves at St. Joseph’s Mercy Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Irfan Rana has applied his expertise as an emergency room doctor at other hospitals in Arkansas. He has gained the necessary skills to provide excellent care to trauma patients. A certified specialist in advanced trauma, pediatric, and cardiac life support, Dr. Rana also holds knowledge of psychiatric and geriatric medicine.

An alumnus of Aitchison College, Lahore and Baqai Medical College, Dr. Irfan Rana earned academic honors for his exceptional work at both Pakistani institutions. Dr. Rana also studied computer programming at the National College of Computer Sciences, Lahore in Pakistan.

Actively involved in the medical community, Dr. Irfan Rana belongs to the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America, Arkansas Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, and Texas Association of Family Physicians. He also holds certification from The American Board of Family Medicine, Inc. and Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. Beyond his commitment to medicine, Dr. Rana excels in a variety of subjects. He maintains proficiency in Arabic, Urdu, and Punjabi. An accomplished athlete, he played cricket, football, and hockey in college.
