Iris Afonso
I was raised in Westbrook, Connecticut. In 2007, I graduated from Duke University with a major in Cultrual Anthropology, a minor in Religion, and I studied Spanish, French, and Arabic. I moved to Chinandega, Nicaragua and worked in a rural communicty with children, youth and famlies. Afterwards, I moved to Athens, Georgia to live with my family and attend The University of Georgia as a graduate student in Public Administration.
