Iron Cross Fitness is simply the name I have chosen to operate under as I train and condition others to meet their fitness goals. Known in gymnastics as a pose that embodies strength, endurance, and commitment, Iron Cross is also an allusion to Christ and serves as a reminder that, created in His image, we are to reflect the cross as we build and maintain our bodies - temples of His Holy Spirit. Having graduated from Union University with a B.A. in Psychology in 2006, I have since joined the Marine Corps, and have served in support of operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan. I received my certification as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) in October of 2010, and received my certification as a Certified Fitness Trainer (CFT) from International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) in December of the same year. While my passion is working with athletes, I greatly enjoy striving with anyone towards their own personal fitness goals! Combining a combat conditioning mindset with functional fitness, nutrition strategies, and an individually-tailored program, it is my lifelong passion to do best what I've been called to do: Sharpen the Created Image!
