Irwan Harjanto

Irwan is an aspiring Policy Analyst and Consultant that has the gut to work in the intersection between politics, business, economy, and the policy-making process as well as seeking the balance to be the one. Graduated cum laude with BA in Politics and Government from Gadjah Mada University, He is currently working as a Junior Research Analyst at the Research Centre for Politics and Government (PolGov) focusing on political-economy, democracy, resource governance, and issues related to human and economic development.
He has traveled to several regions in Indonesia ranging from the eastern province of Indonesia, Papua to the western province of Indonesia, Aceh, to promote and formulate the idea of humanizing politics in the mids of fluctuating public opinion and technology advancement. He believes that politics is the center of everything that can not be separated from other aspects of life such as the economy, environment, and technology.
He awarded as 2017 Young Leaders for Indonesia Program Wave 9 awardee by McKinsey & Company, won several debating championships, and represented Indonesia as the delegate of ASEAN-India Students Exchange Programme (AISEP) 2018 conducted by the Confederation of Indian Industry, Government of India, ASEAN Secretariat and Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as the Asia Young Activist Researcher Fellows 2020 conducted by Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seoul Youth Hub.
Apart from sticking in his insecurity as a faceless behemoth that has never been done, he would rather stir the mind to improve his capacities and find sanctuary by conjoined with his ambition and passion for the arts.
