I manage communication and research for EU-funded projects connecting technology, sustainability, and innovation across Africa and Europe.

Currently Communication Manager at INNOVA (Rome), I design dissemination strategies and produce research outputs for Horizon Europe and EU-funded programmes. I've authored 8 research studies in CO₂ management, environmental sustainability, and IP transfer for academic and private clients, and contribute to proposal development for EU calls.

Before moving to Italy, I co-founded Y-Tech in Ethiopia, a digital agency that delivered 50+ web platforms and brand identities for NGOs, startups, governments, and private companies across 4 continents. I managed EU project communication for DiBiCoo (biogas value chains) and led Agile delivery of a GIZ-funded agricultural learning platform as Project Manager at Iceaddis, Ethiopia's first innovation hub.

I've secured €11,000+ in project funding (Heifer International for AgriTech innovation, for freelance marketplace development, Jumpstart acceleration) and was recognised as a Young African Leader by YALI East Africa for contributions to startup ecosystems and digital tourism.

My work bridges African tech execution speed with EU funding compliance. I translate complex research into audience-ready content, coordinate multicultural project teams, and turn proposal requirements into winning narratives.

I hold a Master’s in Economics and Entrepreneurship, also a dual degree in Information Technology (Wollo University) and Management (Unity University), Fluent in English and Amharic, currently reaching professional Italian proficiency.

Open to:EU-funded project roles in communication, dissemination, proposal support, and research coordination. Based in Cassino/Rome, available for EU consortia and international projects.
