Isabel H. Coleman

I was born and raised in Charlottesville, VA. I studied German for six years, from Middle School through High School and beyond. I have played the violin since the age of 9, attaining the proud position of Principal of the Second Violin section in both the Charlottesville High School Chamber Orchestra and the Youth Orchestra of Charlottesville-Albemarle, from 10th-12th grades. I graduated CHS with an Advanced Studies Diploma in 1994. In 1995, I moved to San Diego, CA, where I attended school for Registered Dental Assisting from 1996-7. I moved to Houston in 1997, where I began my career as an RDA. I have been assisting for fifteen years in Texas; certification #6608: Radiology (TX and CA), CPR, Nitrous Oxide monitoring. I have experience in both General Dentistry and Endodontics. I am articulate, organized, compassionate, friendly, and I have a passion for learning. My favorite dental journal is the Journal of Endodontics. I have remained an assistant for this length of time due to my love of the profession and for people. I see dentistry as an opportunity to care for people in a way that only those of us in the healthcare industry are able to do. Specifically relating to Endodontics, I know that, as an assistant, I play a valuable role in helping people who are often in pain; I take comfort in knowing that the services we are providing will ease that pain and make them feel better! Personal: Wife/Mother, violinist, love of hiking (when terrain is available), avid reader, animal lover, golfer, love of culinary arts, ameteur photographer.
