Isabel Gallant

Hi! I'm Isabel Gallant, and I am currently a third-year Creative Industries student at Ryerson University with a studies focus on Visual Culture and Media Business. I am originally from Vancouver and moved to Toronto for my post-secondary education to explore the next stage of my life in a new city! I was a member of the Canadian National Karate Team for five years, and have eight years of dojo and competition coaching experience. During my summers back home I have also enjoyed serving and bartending at Hollyburn Country Club, most often working at weddings and other catered events. In my free time, I like to be outside in the mountains or at the beach, watching movies and creating art. I have a passion for comedy and animation and would love to work on an adult cartoon after graduating. I was (and still am) an avid Spongebob watcher, and as I've grown up I have developed a love for many adult animations, including The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, Family Guy, and Big Mouth. I am fascinated by the ability animation has to take jokes to the next level, and allows for impossible physical comedy to become possible.
