Isabel Majewski

Hi my name is Isabel Majewski and I am going to tell you about myself. I am currently a freshman attending Pulaski High School. I have been attending school for the past 10-years of my life, and I feel like the years will benefit me in the long run. One of my strong subjects in school right now is math, which I am currently getting an A in. On my free-time I have a very strong bond to basketball and I do it whenever I can. I just love the feeling of having control of what I can do when I am on the court. It is just something I can do for me, and the team. I feel like this sport has changed me has a player and a person and I think that it is for the better. It has taught me many things like, how to work really well with others, such as communication skills and listening/understanding others. I have also just learned to so just as much as respect to others as they show you. Our coaches show us more respect than we can even see, and majority of the time we never use that confidence that we should show. What I am saying is that other people show/know you have you just need to believe in yourself and show it when you need it most. I also volunteer/help a lot to help the community, and others who need it. I help the girl basketball youth program with coaching, I am at every practice and at every game helping the girls to grow/improve. I also have a job babysitting for many places such as for some neighbors with two little girls and my two little cousins. All of these things relate back to what I want to be when I grow up, which is to be a pediatrician. A pediatrician is perfect for me because I love to work with kids and I love to be a doctor because I love school and I am really good at it.
