Isa Hatipoglu received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2012 from Erciyes University, Turkey. He received his first M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016 and his second M.Sc. degree in Optics from CREOL, College of Optics and Photonics, the University of Central Florida in 2019.
In December 2021, he received his Ph.D. degree in Optics and Photonics from CREOL, the College of Optics and Photonics, University of Central Florida.
Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at Sirnak University in Turkey.
His research interests include photodetectors, semiconductor device fabrication, molecular beam epitaxy, and characterization of photonic devices. His main research is on wide and ultrawide-bandgap semiconductor materials for ultraviolet photodetectors, namely Ga2O3-based alloys.
