Isaiah G. Timothy has over six years of experience working at the intersection of education, research, and community development within the non-governmental sector. Isaiah holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies with emphasis in Policy & Civil Society from the Kigali Independent University in Kigali, Rwanda, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geology from the University of Liberia. Isaiah has an imbued passion for education with a keen interest in leveraging data to inform policy advocacy in the Liberian education sector.
Currently, Isaiah serves as a Program Manager at the Liberia Institute for the Promotion of Academic Excellence (LIPACE); a non-governmental organization committed to leveraging data to increase student achievement and improve livelihoods. Isaiah primarily focuses on designing, monitoring, and evaluating educational programs.
Isaiah works with multi-lateral donors such as the European Union, Luminos Fund, Mercy Corps, EDC, USAID, etc through the preparation of narrative reports that are in consonance with donor guidelines. Isaiah is committed to volunteerism and community development as evidenced by his role as a lead organizer for the 2nd edition of the global Hult Prize On-Campus competition at the University of Liberia, and he once served as a volunteer at the Liberia Association of Volunteers (LAV) where he heads the association's civic engagement and community services pillar.
