Student in London
My name is Isa Khan. I am an 18-year-old currently in my first year of my degree at SOAS. I’d say if I had to take pride in one aspect of my many interests, it would be the subject of History. As a naturally curious person, I have always been driven to explore the past of our world as a means of understanding how aspects of our history or rather, histories which created and influenced the societies we live in today. My urge to follow History has given me insight into not only how revelations made by prominent figures and civilizations of the past affect nearly every little thing in modern-day society, but the many differing views on these revelations. This struck a chord in my existing interest in exploring and breaking down all sides of the story, which usually are not explored in a classroom or lecture hal
