Dr. Isaura D. González
Dr. Gonzalez is the founder and CEO of Latina College Corner, an organization geared toward the professional and personal development of students of all ages.
Dr. González is a psychologist, educator, coach, and presenter. She has taught undergraduate and graduate students for the last 18 years within the Tri-state area and has been Guest Faculty for a Los Angeles Anger Management based company. She leverages her dynamic and engaing presentation style to educate and communicate with students, employees, her community and beyond. Dr. Gonzalez has contributed to "Being Latino", an online magazine, and has been a guest speaker on National Public Radio (NPR).
Dr. González is no stranger to education, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a double minor in French and Sociology from Villanova University, a Master of Arts in General-Experimental Psychology from St. John's University, a Master of Arts and a Psy. D. in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. Dr. Gonzalez' additional training includes Executive Coaching training from the College of Executive Coaching in Santa Barbara, an Anger Management Facilitator Certification and is a Center for Credentialing and Education, Board Certified Coach. She is currently a 2013 National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) Executive Leadership Program (ELP) fellow, has received leadership training through the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) and is an alumna of the Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government Executive Education.
She is the creative force behind her behavior modification program for children, GoldStar Behavior TM.
As a practicing Clinical Psychologist, she owns and operates a private practice in New York providing both psychlogical treatment as well as coaching services. Dr. González' coaching practice focuses on leadership development, personal growth, emotional wellness at work, anger management coaching, disruptive physicians and disruptive work.
