Soul as the New bottom Line© ROSALIND ANNE —July 2O10 With over 25 years of combined business & personal coaching, customer service and corporate training, I have worked with large organizations and small "Mom and Pop" shops, having enjoyed many successes as well as some mortifying flops. While I have been fortunate enough to have more "peak experiences" than "near death experiences", there is one reliable, aesthetically consistent, phenomenal truth which I can speak, and that is: "King Arthur and the land are one". You, the Owner/CEO/President, and your firm/ practice / organization/ business /culture… are ONE! (I call it THE LAW OF REFLECTION) The moment you "get" that… our Quest, for “Soul as the New Bottom Line” may begin... In searching for the "Holy Grail" of business… all business (whether you make widgets or do brain surgery) is the same! You are not going to take your organization (culture) anywhere you have not already been! So if Soul, as the new bottom line, is what you want, you must first be your organization. After 30 years of coaching experience, I know in the first few moments of meeting a new client, whether or not we are resonating with "Soul Truth" and whether or not he/she is ready to make the paradigm shifts necessary for success. This is not rocket science; this IS simply shifting and/or adapting a new viewpoint and the willingness to experience alignment with Soul, with your own highest level of integrity, taking yourself to Soul experience. Living, “being” your higher self, your own inner, venerable philosophy… inside your company's culture. This emphasis on THINKING AND INTERACTINGcreates disorientation and fear in many people. These feelings are brought on by a necessary, and unfamiliar, shift of POINT OF ORIENTATIONfrom outward to inward. To look inward, one must take an initial step of becoming aware of and studying the tacit "truths" that we take for granted as well as the aspirations and expectations governing what we choose from life. The disciplines of PERSONAL MASTERY, SOUL EXPERIENCE, MENTAL MODELS, SYSTEMS THINKING AND GLOBAL VISIONhelp us productively examine and change the ways in which we think.
