I am a Master of Design candidate at the awesome Institute of Design at IIT Chicago. I love design and specialize in User Experience Design and Design Strategy. I am also passionate about the application of design to problems of social relevance.

For 5 years before coming to grad school, I had a great job at Infosys in India-first as a software engineer, then as a team lead and then as a user experience designer. I also spent a lot of time volunteering for social initiatives in the areas of education, micro-finance and democratic reform.

I love learning and thinking about different cultures and their roots, about history, psychology and economics. I think one day my passion for design will intersect with these interest areas.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling and hiking. Some of my crazy hikes have led me to the jungles of South India, to being chased by angry elephants and to hitching rides on cargo trains.
