Heyyy,

I am Ishwarya. One of the million people working with TCS. Uh oh! Wait, I am not going to make you feel bored by telling you how exciting (Read prosaic) the IT life is. All I want to tell you is about my way of life. :)

Not so long ago, I was this random person who always felt depressed(even a bit angry), whenever I looked at the under-privileged kids lying uncared for. I always wanted to see the change around me, without realizing that I can actually be the change I wanted to witness. I came across a newspaper, which had a huge 'Teach India' advertisement, at the right time. I went to meet a bunch of enthusiastic people, who were of my age, already playing a huge role in trying "to bridge the inequality in society through education". MAD a.k.a Make a Difference came across as the right platform for me to connect with these kids and engage myself in the process of mutual learning. Ever since that day, I have looked forward to my weekends, with glee.. however miserable the week had been! :D

Believe me, nothing gives me more satisfaction than being able to see a small, but a steady growth in the kids' personalities.. especially when I know that I am being a part of the process too! :) However, as much as they have learnt from me, I have learnt from them as well. They are the ones who have made me understand the true meaning of the terms - passion, commitment, patience and dedication.
