Isis Zahara is a talented and accomplished performer, choreographer and instructor with specialisation in female dance in the Middle Eastern Culture.
She is graduated Bachelor Degree in Anthropology and Master Degree in Dance Education at State University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil.
Her first contact with the Middle Eastern dances was by the Sufi dance from Turkey. The Sufism is a Mystical Order from Islam that considered the dance as a part of the prayer.
Through Sufism Isis Zahara new some important names of Islamic literature for example Rumi, Omar Khayám and Al-Ghazali. That influence extended beyond her studies about the Ancient Female Dances in the University.
Isis Zahara is also the second generation of yoga instructor in her family.Her mother started to practice Hatha Yoga at the age 17 and never stopped.
As a part of her professional development, Isis studies with renowned Brazilian belly dancers and did workshops with Egyptian master choreographers as Raqia Hassan.
She began her career teaching Belly Dance with an emphasis on female healthiness and fitness.
In 2003 She earned her own Schools in Brazil, Muse’s Well and Isis Zahara Studio in Campinas, São Paulo. The classes provided a Complete Course about Belly Dance technique, history, culture, simbology, anatomy and kinesiology of Belly Dance.
Parallels the dance school Isis Zahara worked, from 2005 untill 2010, as a television producer in the TV programa "Café Filosófico" of TV Cultura's Channel in SP. She had also her own Show Events Company promoting artists in parties and cultural events around the country.

Isis Zahara moved to Netherlands in the year 2011 and started her own dance school: Isis Zahara Studio in Den Bosch city. In the end of 2011 she began the dance studies with Aisa Lafour and become part of the Aisa Lafour Dance Company: Deyy el Amar Ensemble.
