Ismael Gonzalez
Ismael Gonzalez earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and graduated with honors from Columbia University. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, Ismael Gonzalez attended law school at the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, earning a Juris Doctor. Following his time spent in academia, Ismael Gonzalez served as an Assistant District Attorney in the New York City District Attorney’s office, where he gained invaluable legal experience and on-the-job training. In this position, Ismael Gonzalez focused on matters relating to civil litigation and acted as prosecutor in a number of cases. Subsequently accepting a position with the international law firm Baker & McKenzie, Ismael Gonzalez utilized his Spanish speaking skills in international litigation proceedings and treaty-based law issues. Part of a team of attorneys numbering nearly 4,000, Ismael Gonzalez functioned as a respected and integral part of the business conducted in Caracas, Venezuela. Uniquely applying his legal expertise, Ismael Gonzalez served in the United States Air Force as Judge Advocate General (JAG) and full-time Captain. Stationed at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, and assigned to the 56th Tactical Training Wing, Ismael Gonzalez provided legal and logistical guidance and conducted air accident investigations. Ismael Gonzalez later received the Air Force Achievement Medal in 1992, in recognition of his outstanding service and contributions. Currently, Ismael Gonzalez operates as an attorney through his own law firm, the Law Office of Ismael Gonzalez and Associates.
