It's pronounced like "smile" with a short I in front.

I work in product at Braintree--we make it easier for money to move around without cash. Before this I was at a startup called Lumere, where I built tools to reduce wasteful spending in healthcare. And before that I was at Epic Systems, focusing on software to improve patients' access to care.

I got my BS in Economics from the University of Michigan. Outside the classroom I did cool things to data about litigation strategy, served on the student assembly, and worked as a consultant at the writing center.
