Hello there, I’m Israel Monteiro! I am a musician, teacher and music director.

Music has always been a passion of mine and what I have dedicated my life to. At an early age I started studying piano and had the honor of receiving many recognitions such as, Student of the Year, with high honors, from the School of Music of Piracicaba Maestro “Ernst Mahle”, an honorable mention at the City Counsel of Piracicaba (Brazil) for winning first place at the 5th National Concourse of Brazilian Music Maestro “Spartaco Rossi” and many more. Music Theory and Classical Piano were the areas of study in which I graduated and hold degrees and certificates in. Along my career I had the great opportunity to solo with orchestras, accompany choirs and participate in operas which helped me develop my music directing skills, and work and learn from the best musicians in their field.

Several years ago I began focusing on another passion of mine, Theology and Worship. I worked diligently throughout my studies and hold a Music Ministry degree from Canzion Institute in Brazil and a Biblical Studies degree from Faith International Training School in New Jersey. I also had the great opportunity to work as the Music Director at Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center under the leadership of the brilliant Pastor, David T. Demola.

It is always been important to me to provide education and support to students, ministries, and projects wherever needed. Recently I have been focusing on working to develop music teams to help bring them to another level. I also teach music; piano and voice, to students ranging from young children to adults.

Currently, I live in Holmdel, NJ and enjoy living life with my beautiful wife, two kids, and two dogs. I am always looking for new opportunities to grow and share my gifts with others.
