About Itai Liptz

Itai Liptz is a California-based entrepreneur and director with a strong interest in technology, education, and innovation. He enjoys running, volunteering, and exploring how systems and people interact. When he’s not working on new ventures, you’ll often find him in the kitchen: He’s an avid home cook who enjoys experimenting with flavors and techniques.

In addition to founding and running a financial technology firm, Liptz has held leadership roles across several organizations, including Entrepreneurs Organization San Francisco, Mexem Investments, IE Business School, and The Jewish Agency for Israel.

Education and Early Experience
Itai earned a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Political Science from The Open University of Israel between 2008 and 2012. This academic foundation sharpened his ability to think critically and navigate complex systems, giving him skills that have carried over into every stage of his career.

One of his earliest professional roles was as a counselor at URJ Camp Harlam, where he worked in partnership with The Jewish Agency for Israel. That experience helped shape his leadership style and gave him firsthand insight into the value of mentorship and clear communication.

In 2015, Itai launched his own firm focused on equity trading strategies. As CEO, he led the development of custom trading algorithms that incorporate a range of techniques, from technical and fundamental analysis to real-time event monitoring and risk management. His approach emphasized both precision and adaptability, using technology to make data-driven decisions in fast-moving markets.

Continuing Education and Global Perspective

While growing the business, Itai Liptz completed his MBA at IE Business School in Madrid. The program deepened his understanding of business operations and gave him a broader international perspective. He continues to apply what he learned there to help organizations grow in smarter, more sustainable ways.
