Early life

Ejim Chimezie Matthew was born in Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos. His father, Ejim Jonathan, is a businessman, and his mother, Ejim Felicia, was a mechanized farmer in Imo. Gwill is from a family of 5. 4 girls and one boy. He started his primary education at Mafoluku Primary School and continued at St. Therasa’s Comprehensive Secondary School, Lagos. In 2015, Chimezie Matthew gained admission into the Ojukwu Polytechnic Nnewi Anambra to study computer science but dropped out in year two due to a financial problem.

Ejim Chimezie Matthew is a professional chef. He said, working as a baker has been one of the things I love doing, and I find pleasure in it.
