Hey there! I'm Ivana Bizic, and I'm the proud owner of a cozy ceramic studio right in the heart of Bordeaux. My journey with pottery kicked off during my archaeology days while I was knee-deep in excavations in Egypt. Those ancient pots with their mesmerizing decorations? They completely stole my heart.
I started crafting ceramics back in Serbia and carried that passion all the way to France. Here, I kept evolving my skills and fell in love with the beautiful technique of Raku, infusing it into my creations.
To me, pottery is more than just historical relics. It's about witnessing clay, something straight from nature, transform into stunning pieces, be it functional or decorative. The whole process blows my mind every single time.
Running my studio isn't just about making beautiful ceramics; it's also about sharing this passion. I love teaching courses and watching enthusiasts dive into the art of pottery, nurturing their creativity, and helping them see the magic in this ancient craft.
