You may wonder why I typed "The Extra Mile Runner" as my headline. Let me tell you why. I'm always working to bring solutions to my team. With over 15+ years of experience in Customer Experience, Executive Support and Office Operations Management, I've learned that in order to build good relationships, I need my customers to feel like they're receiving a VIP Special Treatment. As a matter of fact my motto is: "Treat others like I'll like to be treated". I've worked as a Buyer, Administrative Assistant, Customer Service Rep, Executive Assistant, Insurance Broker and recently as a VP of Customer Experience. I discovered my passion for sales while working at OfficeMax. Thanks to my friendly personality, it is very easy to connect with the customers. Instead of focusing to meet our weekly sales goal, I developed relationships with our customers and my target was to LISTEN the customer and discover "the need behing the need". That initiative lead to quick promotions and suddenly I was training the team about selling techniques. What I really enjoy is to help people. That's the reason that I decided to become an insurance professional. As a latina, I discovered that my community was underserved. It's great that there's a lot of companies that are directing their marketing efforts in order to attract the latino market. The problem is that there's a misconception about our culture, idioms & expressions. That's my Super Power, that's what I'm bringing to the table. As a technology oriented professional, I'm always searching for the latest trends and that's one of the reasons my colleagues know me as the "Go to Person". As a fan of Steve Jobs' vision, my focus is to create the need and build brand loyalty through customer experience. I have the knowledge to connect customers to your Company.
