My name is Ivy Faye Monroe (she/her) and I am a PhD student at Yale University, pursuing a joint doctorate in American Studies and Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. My current research is focused on the history of feminization erotica and it's relationship to the gendered, racialized, classed, and sexual anxieties of the American political right. I have previously served as a Research Fellow with Yale University's Beinecke Library and as an Instructor in Gender & Women's Studies at the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University. In addition to academic work, I have extensively volunteered in service of trans youth, most recently with Trans Lifeline and the Lexington Pride Center.
