Ixia Colon

I am Ixia Colón, a teacher at Meadowbrook Academy with a passion for creating a classroom environment where students feel seen, challenged, and supported. I believe that education is more than mastering content; it is about shaping character, building resilience, and equipping young people to make wise decisions in and beyond the classroom.

At Meadowbrook Academy, I partner closely with families, colleagues, and school leadership to help students reach their full potential: academically, socially, and spiritually. I value structure, clear communication, and genuine care for each student entrusted to my classroom. My goal is to help students discover their strengths, take ownership of their learning, and develop the skills they need to thrive in the next season of their lives.

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy collaborating with other educators, learning new strategies to engage students, and investing in the Meadowbrook community. I am always eager to connect with others who share a heart for Christian education and student development.
