The key question that my clients ask me is: "Am I doing this M&A deal at the right price?"

I answer this fundamental question by answering it in three parts. Firstly, how big a pay off can I expect from this deal? Secondly, have I underestimated or overestimated the size of the deal? Thirdly, what non-financial considerations do I need to make for this deal?

As a deal analytics specialist, I bring to bear best-in-class data analysis tools to help investors and companies make sense of a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environment. Deal analytics can potentially surface new strategic sources of value or unexplored cost synergies in deals.

My work covers all aspects of the Business Model Canvas:
* Value propositions. Are operating models aligned to value-adding activities? Does the business make conscious choices for selecting which value propositions to invest in?
* Customer segments and revenue streams. Are efforts directed at the market segments that are lucrative and growing? What is the risk of customer concentration?
* Customer relationships and Channels. Are investments in branding, loyalty and marketing being directed at customers with the most value to the business?
* Costs and Partners. Is the business sweating it's assets and does the supply chain confer a competitive advantage?
* Activities and Resources. How efficiently and effectively are resources being utilised?
