Mr. Freeman is an advocate for inclusive finance and a seasoned entrepreneur. He gained valuable experience working with a value-driven organizational culture consulting firm, where he advised top federal ministries, including the Federal Ministry of Finance, the Federal Judicial Services Commission, the Ministry of Defence, and the Nigeria University Commission. APRA is based on the belief that one of the most sustainable ways to reduce poverty in Africa is by optimizing Nano, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NMSMEs), which make up over 90% of businesses on the continent and contribute more than 50% to African GDP. APRA's approach is to strengthen and digitize the Business operational structure of these Small businesses, enabling them to generate alternative data that can improve their access to funding to finance growth and job creation capabilities that will lead to drastic poverty reduction in Africa.

To realize this vision, Mr. Freeman led his team in developing an inclusive finance technology platform called Capsule. This innovative tool uses alternative data to identify legitimate SMEs and connect them with funding while minimizing risks for funders. Capsule has garnered multiple awards from National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN), African Society of Cambridge University UK etc. and has been invited to exhibit in Dubai, Saudi Arabian, Algeria and UK.
