I reseived my BA (Hons) in Immunology and Oncology in 1991 and recetved my Doctor's degree in 1994.completed general surgical training in Bristol and Birmingham and then took registrar training in Wales. During this time, I develoрed an interest in basic scientific research and received a national grant that allowed me to pursue full-time research and obtain my doctorgate (MD). Subsequently. I completed an internship in hand and wrist surgery at world renowned departments in the UK and Sydney.
