Jennifer Cardiel

Hi, my name is Jennifer Cardiel. I just graduated from Royse City High School located in Royse City, TX. I enjoy meeting new people and fitness. I also help take care of babies at my local church. My ultimate career goal is to become an Ultrasound Technician. I became passionate about the medical field when I attended my sister's first sonogram at a clinic. I have taken a few steps to get ahead in school by taking college credit classes to have them completed. After high school I would like to attend the College of Healthcare Professions to attain my Diagnostic Medical Sonography certificate.

Education Writing -

Education plays a huge role in a person’s life by helping them become better citizens, and shows the difference between good and bad. Education also shows us the importance of hard work as well as helping us grow and develop. Considering our twelve years of school from kindergarten to 12th grade, education has helped each one of us grow into individuals that will soon be prepared for the “real world,” which is referred to after high school. Examples that have helped me prepare for life after high school include failing a class, taking four dual credit classes each semester, and being in school in general. During my junior year, I decided to begin the path of getting my associates degree. I didn’t know what I wanted to get my associates degree in, but I knew I wanted to get ahead. This was around the time COVID-19 happened which resulted in online schooling. Due to my motivation being so low, I struggled doing school at home. This caused me to fail one of my classes because I didn’t adapt to the abnormality of online schooling. This situation taught me that things don’t always work out as planned and what matters most is how you pick yourself back up and find motivation within yourself. Education has challenged me in the best way possible to prepare me for life after high school.
