J.M. Lavallee is the author of Young Adult, Contemporary Fantasy, Deep Calling, and Middle Grade, Canadian Historical Fiction, the Wishing Stone and Other Myths Learned on Gull Cliff Island. She grew up along the Lower North Shore of Quebec, and loves books with a passion. J.M. spends much of her time reading, writing, and imagining while working as a Junior Kindergarten Instructor in Alberta, Canada.
