Hi! Thanks for visiting my page! If you are interested in ice don't forget to follow my updates on Twitter.

As a child I dreamed to land on the Moon or Mars, but nobody has ever made me any space-flight offer. So I found extraterrestrial landscapes here on Earth - in the Arctic.

Many years have passed and now I make research on glaciers in Svalbard, laying in between Norway and the North Pole. In 2013 I defended my PhD thesis at Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) in Poznan, Poland, in collaboration with University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS). My scientific interests focus around glacier response to climate change, particularly mass balance issues, geometry changes and energy balance conditions.
