Puerto Rican native, raised in NYC. Attended public schools in NYC, and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus as a Teacher of English to Spanish Speakers (T.E.S.S). Taught in NYC Public Schools from 1999-2005. Received a Master's degree in Bilingual Multicultural Education from St. John's University in Jamaica, NY in 2005, and taught in Nassau County, NY from 2005-2011. Has been serving as a Private Tutor and Bilingual Educational Consultant for a private SES provider since March of 2011. Currently enrolled in a Doctoral Program in Curriculum and Instruction with Phoenix University.
