Toy and Parts Repair

I am a parent of three and I repair toys and miniatures. I have gotten into this profession by a series of unexpected events. My father was a carpenter, and I used to spend a lot of time in his shop. I picked up many things that I still use up to today, not only in my work with toys but also in smaller jobs for our house. I discovered my passion for building and fixing toys after we got our first son. He loved model planes, robots and building all kinds of things. One day his electric toy robot got its wheel stuck, and it wouldn't move anymore.

My son was heartbroken, so I decided to give it a try and see if I can fix it. It turned out that some of the bearings were stuck because they weren't oiled well. I ended up changing them for self-lubricating bearings, because they work better for hard-to-reach places that are difficult to oil. Word got around, and ever since I have been closely involved with fixing toys, first for friends, but now also on a full-time, professional basis. I am looking forward to extending my knowledge on various types of toys. Let me know what needs fixing, and we will talk!
